This simple recipe allows the beauty of fiddleheads to show.
Steam fiddleheads until just tender. Meanwhile, heat butter or olive oil in a large frying pan and sauté shallots and garlic until just softened. In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce, honey, and wine. Add to pan along with steamed fiddleheads, turning to coat them well in the sauce. Serve at once. Serves 4.
