Discover the joys of baking with a bread starter culture. We will talk about sourdough alchemy & health benefits, see the different stages of a starter culture, learn when it's ripe and ready, and finally taste freshly baked slices of several varieties of sourdough bread. There will be some hands-on in the community kitchen where we learn how to shape a sourdough loaf and plenty of time for discussion and questions you might have about completely natural baking, plus every participant will go home with a starter culture for home baking.
