Much of what perpetuates our poor eating patterns is our failure to deeply experience and appreciate the food we eat and how it affects us. Becoming conscious and aware of our eating patterns is thus a necessary prerequisite to changing them. To that end, join Dr. Eric Garza for a workshop on Mindful Eating, a practice that seeks to help people become more conscious and aware of the cravings that drive our eating patterns. This workshop will begin with a short presentation to introduce the tenets of Mindful Eating and will continue with a meditation session that seeks to engage participants with the many aspects of their sensory experience of food.
