Dehydrating is a great way to preserve late summer fruits and vegetables like apples, pears, grapes, melons, tomatoes, kale, broccoli, herbs, and more! Using a dehydrator, Peter Burke demonstrates how to dry a variety of fruits, veggies, and herbs and gives samples, creative ideas, and recipes for fruit leathers, soup bases, trail mixes, and more. Peter is an avid gardener who teaches square foot gardening and indoor gardening classes.
