The Burlington Farmers’ Market goes indoors from November through April and features seasonal meats, produce, and handmade crafts from dozens of local producers. Once a month, stop by our activity table for fun, hands-on activities for all ages.
Join us at the Intervale Center’s annual winter extravaganza! Stop by to enjoy free ski and snowshoe rentals, food and drink for purchase, a bonfire, and a chili cook-off. City Market will be at Wintervale with a “Make Your Own Mulling Spice” activity.

We’re all about celebrating local cornmeal this winter, and what better way than to challenge you to a local cornmeal recipe contest? Did you know, cornmeal can be used for so much more than just cornbread?
Meet over four dozen local producers and sample their delicious products! Door prizes, face painting, and live music provide a fun atmosphere for meeting your local farmers and producers and learning where your food comes from.
What makes food “good?” Does good indicate nutritious? Organic? Vegan? Affordable? Fair trade? Artisanal? Just plain tasty? Really, there is no one answer. Food trends come and go, and vouching for definitive, restrictive food rules can do more harm than good.
