5:00am - 6:30am

This class has been cancelled. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Fromage blanc is a fresh, easy to make cultured cheese. Of French origin, its name simply means "white cheese" and it makes an excellent spread with herbs and spices. It can also be used the way you use cream cheese or ricotta in cooking, with a mild, delicate flavor. The process is similar to making yogurt, and you don’t need anything more complicated than a mason jar and a cheesecloth. Lindsay Harris of Family Cow Farmstand will teach us the simple and delicious art of making fromage blanc. Family Cow Farmstand is the first state certified raw milk dairy in Vermont.
