Learn to make simple and flavorful vegetable, bean, and grain-based meals. Jason Frishman will show us his favorite ways to prepare tempeh, a versatile and nutritious food made from cultured soybeans. Tempeh is easy to cook with when you know a few tricks. Along with tempeh, we will learn some recipes for simple side dishes that feature locally-grown and fermented foods. Jason heads up the FolkFoods stand at the Burlington Farmer’s Market and enjoys teaching about fermentations year-round.
