Chocolate Fondue


We recently made chocolate fondue, and found that bananas and coconut macaroons were the biggest hit for dipping. Great for birthdays, Valentines Day, or any special occasion. Also try Classic Cheese Fondue.

1⁄2 pound chocolate, bittersweet
1⁄2 cup heavy cream


Place all ingredients in a double boiler over barely simmering water and heat, stirring occasionally, until melted and smooth. To serve, keep warm in a fondue pot.

Dip with bananas, satsumas, apples, macaroons, etc.

Try adding 1-2 Tbs. cognac or espresso for a different flavor.
