Apple Brie Salad

This delicious late summer salad is a must when local apples are in season.

4 cups greens (mixed)
4 ounces cheese, brie (cut into 1-inch pieces)
1 apple (cut into 1-inch pieces)
1 pear, Asian (cut into 1-inch pieces)
1⁄2 cup pecans (toasted)
1⁄2 cup cranberries, dried
4 green onion (chopped)


Toast the pecans in the oven or a skillet, being careful not to burn. Assemble ingredients in a large bowl and mix together. Top with your favorite dressing.
