OGGI BE Yoga Therapy & Rewilding

Christine Badalamenti Smith, MS, C-IAYT, RYT-500, is the owner/founder of OGGI BE, a Yoga Therapist, and Rewilding Guide.  Christine helps people partner with their bodies for their mental health and wellness.

MISSION

Christine’s mission is to help people feel at home, alive, and powerful in their bodies and in the natural world.  She believes people who feel whole, safe, and empowered will be better stewards of their lives and the planet.  Christine founded OGGI BE to offer services and resources and convene a collective of people who want to be present, authentic, and intentional in their lives.  Clients come to her for healing, change, alignment, and deep connection to self and purpose.

SERVICES

Yoga Therapy- Yoga therapy is not a yoga class, it's therapy.  Most clients have never practiced yoga and have no intention of starting!  Yoga therapy is a therapeutic process that uses the body as the main point of entry to the present moment, the mind, our behavior, our way of interpreting and moving through the world, and our deepest truth.  It is based on the teachings, research, and practice of Yoga, Buddhism, Neuroscience, Psychology, and Ayurveda (as well as new and emerging systems and research).

Individual clients seek yoga therapy if they are wishing to engage their body in their process of working with an existing condition such as anxiety, depression, stress and burnout, chronic pain, dysmorphia, complex trauma, and more.  People also come to work through a challenging life transition, or who simply wish to enhance their lives by cultivating a better relationship with self.  Christine sees clients of all ages and welcomes all people to engage this powerful practice.

Couples seek yoga therapy who wish to better understand how they show up in their relationship, their communication, and partnership, through this unique opportunity for embodied connection.

Groups may seek a yoga therapy experience who wish to cultivate understanding, build bonds, create better connection, and break through barriers.  Christine also offers pop-up workshops and group series that offer education and intentional skillbuilding within the support of a community of people who also seek healing, growth, and a path.

Rewilding- Clients seek her rewilding experiences to connect to themselves by connecting mindfully and reciprocally to the more-than-human world, which has been shown to reduce stress, improve focus, and add to quality of life.

Yoga- Christine also offers private yoga instruction to individuals, groups, and at special events.
