Everyday Memory

I am fascinated by unpredictable compositions of found objects and scenes I encounter in everyday life. I take photographs constantly, generating an archive of minutia that I use as source material. My current work involves bridging my need to describe my observed experience, with my need to be free from prioritizing representation over exploring my materials.

My process can incorporate photography, collage, and printmaking, but my artistic focus is centered in drawing and painting. I live and work in Burlington, Vermont, and my pronouns are they/them.
