We’ll discuss plant and site selection, trees, shrubs, perennials and annuals, propagation techniques, flavor and medicinal qualities, best harvesting practices, and suggestions for drying and storage of your harvests. She'll also share a brief lesson about making quality teas from both fresh and dried plant material.

Kara Buchanan received her formal herbal training at the Sage Mountain Advanced Herbal Training Program with Rosemary Gladstar.
