Community Earth Day with Sangha Studio!

Join us for a day in community to celebrate Earth, learn about local resources of how to reduce, reuse & recycle & clean up the neighborhood & raise funds to plant trees! This is a FREE event & you do not need to pre-register (except for classes), HOWEVER if you would like to support our efforts of raising $500 to plant 500 trees for One Tree Planted, please consider pre-registering & donating to the cause!

List of Activities:

-2-3pm Earthy Yoga with Sarah M at Pomeroy Park (2 blocks from Sangha) *pre-registration is required as space is limited - see workshop page to register
- 3-3:30 Community Clean up - Join Planet People & grab a Planet Pack or bucket (provided!) & let's clean up the neighborhood. Folks can either meet at Pomeroy Park OR at the studio at 3 & make their way through the O.N.E.

- 3-6pm:

~T-shirt Upcycling: Bring your own t-shirts or help us clean out our closet & grab some Sangha swag & get crafty (inside studio)
~ Gently Used Yoga mats for Sale (all have been freshly disinfected!)
~ Baby plant exchange & seed packets from American Meadows - bring clippings &/or take some home!
~ Raffle drawings for lots of great prizes thanks to Mascoma Bank & our partners! Raffle details -- Folks can "earn" 1 raffle ticket for doing the following: 1) get to the event by foot/bike/public transportation 2) drop off any specialty recycling items the week or day of 3) brings baby plants to share 4) participating in CSWD's game & gets a question correct! Folks can buy a ticket for $1 OR buy an arms-length for $10!

~Community Resource Tables: Planet Packs, CSWD, CareShareVt, Restock Shop & Repair Cafe brought to you by Laboratory B
~SPECIALTY RECYCLING DROP OFF: Bring your junk i.e. items NOT designated for the blue bin that should stay out of the landfill including: Small electronics (think cell phones, tablets, computer cords, etc.), dead batteries, small metal junk (think jar lids, whipped cream canisters & aerosol cans), dead light bulbs & plastic film (produce bags, bread bags, case wrap, air pillows, newspaper bags, food storage bags). **We will be accepting all specialty recycled items starting on Earth Day, 4/22**
- 6-7pm Darkside of the Moon with Heather on the Roof!! Sponsored by Bitter Bubble! Everyone gets a free can of refreshing Bitter Bubble after class! - see workshop page to register *pre-registration is required as space is limited - see workshop page to register
