Fancy a taste of the 'wild' side? Join the National Wild Turkey Federation and Vermont Fish and Wildlife for an evening cooking the bounty of fish, wildlife, and plants found in Vermont. Participants will have a chance to help prepare wild caught fish, hunter-harvested game, and work with wild foraged greens to produce familiar dishes with a flavor all their own! This truly unique event will give participants an opportunity to learn from hunters, anglers, and foragers, to hear their stories and share in their infectious passion for sourcing their own food. We will be cooking outside, so please wear appropriate layers for the weather, close-toed shoes, and bring some bugspray/sunscreen.
