Tired of the summer meat sweats? Join Abby and Emily for a class focused on the under-appreciated BBQ ingredients: vegetables. This class will redirect the focus from meat as the center of the plate to creative vegetarian grill options to incorporate into your summer repertoire. Abby and Emily Portman are owners of Poppy Cafe & Market, an Old North End locale in a co-op owned building, opening in August 2020. Their style of cooking, though not strictly vegetarian, revolves mainly around locally grown herbs and vegetables.
This class will be held outdoors, so please wear close-toed shoes and appropriate layers. Face coverings and social distancing practices are mandatory.
