The glycemic index can be very helpful in controlling blood sugar, hunger, food cravings and weight loss. Join Sylvia Gaboriault, dietitian and herbalist, as she explains the pros and cons and practical ways of eating with the glycemic index. Come with your questions and your appetite – there will be plenty of samples and recipes to share. Sylvia currently works as a dietitian and diabetes educator at the Montpelier Integrative Family Health Center, and has a private health counseling practice in Central Vermont.
