Winooski Farmers Market
The Winooski Farmers Market is a program of Downtown Winooski that seeks to increase access to fresh, locally produced food, provide opportunities for education and community engagement, and support local farmers and businesses through accessible marketplace opportunities. They're proud to present Vermont-made farm-fresh products, prepared foods, crafts, live music, community guests, activities, and monthly special events.
Job Summary
Volunteering at the market is a great way to get involved and meet new people! There are weekly opportunities to help with market and vendor setup/takedown and transactions at the manager's tent. There are monthly opportunities to help with kids activities for the Power of Produce (POP) Club, as well as to lend a hand with various tasks on our special event days, such as helping folks at the manager's tent or running community activities. There are also occasional opportunities to engage customers in a market survey.
