Cheray brings a diverse marketing background to City Market’s leadership team. She has worked with some of Vermont’s most recognized brands on creative, product development, sales programming and brand building across multiple channels. From corporate brands to start ups, Cheray has been on the ground developing fresh ideas and effective ways to reach a broad spectrum of consumers.

Cheray is a highly analytical, passionate, and collaborative leader who thrives in competitive environments through creative problem solving. A seasoned marketing strategist with deep roots in graphic design, Cheray is well versed in establishing a clear vision and rallying partners and cross-functional teams to achieve it. As an avid supporter of City Market’s commitment to local products and businesses, she is excited to introduce more members of the Burlington community to local foods and to the Co-op’s role as a hub in a resilient local food system.

A native Vermonter, Cheray holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Endicott College in Beverly, MA. She returned to Vermont and moved to the Burlington area in 2008 with her husband. Her free time is spent enjoying all Vermont has to offer with her family and very loveable and stinky pup, Ophelia.
