The Mosaic of Flavor cooking series is a collaboration between City Market and USCRI Vermont (US Committee for Refugees and Immigrants Vermont, formerly the Vermont Refugee Resettlement Program). In May, we will learn to make Bosnian Paprikash, a hearty comfort food popular across the Balkans. Paprikash is a delicious stew of tender chicken cooked with vegetables in a creamy paprika-based sauce and is commonly served with bulgur, rice, or potatoes. Our instructor, Edina Kovacevik, is from Bosnia and Herzegovina and has called Vermont home for the past 30 years. Edina learned to cook at a young age from her mother and considers cooking an art form that can bring happiness. In her spare time, Edina loves working in her vegetable garden and taking care of her grandson.
Proceeds from the tickets sales for this class will go to USCRI. Class will be held in-person in the South End Community Room.
