This monthly series is a collaboration with the Vermont Refugee Resettlement Program. In May, we will be preparing Bosnian coffee and palacinke, Bosnian pancakes, with savory filling of sour cream and cottage cheese and sweet filling of fresh fruit. Nada Popovac came from Sarajevo in 1998. She is a traveler, has worked at Vermont Refugee Resettlement Program for 16 years, is the “office mama,” a proud mother and grandmother and loves Vermont.
