The flavors of lemon, ginger and lavender go so well together! A match made in heaven.
Lavender Ginger Syrup
Make the lemon ginger syrup by blending sugar, ginger, lavender, and lemon zest in a food processor or blender until the ginger is in tiny pieces.
Put in a small sauce pan with 2 cups of water and boil for 1 minute. Strain into a bowl and discard the solids.
In a two-quart pitcher combine 4 cups of water and ½ cup lemon juice with the syrup. Then chill. When cool, serve over ice and garnish with a little sprig of lavender!
