Cranberry Turkey Sausage Stuffing

Make this delicious stuffing to go with your bird this Thanksgiving, compliments of Frances Stone of Stonewood Farm.

Ingredients

15 ounces stuffing
2 egg
1 1⁄2 cups onion
2 1⁄2 cups celery
1 pound sausage, turkey
8 ounces cranberry sauce
1 cup apple juice

Instructions

Mix stuffing, eggs, chopped onion and celery, browned sausage, and cranberry sauce. Add apple juice, a little at a time, until entire mixture is dampened but not mushy. For drier stuffing, use less apple juice. Stuff turkey loosely and cook as directed for weight of turkey. Any remaining stuffing can be baked separately in a covered casserole for 30 minutes at 350 F degrees.
