We wanted to take some time to talk about
McManis Family Vineyards, a go-to label for our Beer and Wine Manager for quite some time. Every one of their varietals has always been well received when bringing them over to a friend’s house for dinner or the family homestead for special occasions. Ron and Jamie McManis bought their first vineyard in 1990, in the San Joaquin valley of central California, and for over ten years they mostly crushed grapes for other California wineries, always expanding when they could and keeping an eye to sustainable practices. In 2001, they began bottling their own label, starting with Chardonnay, Merlot, and a Cabernet/Merlot blend. Today, due to the incredible popularity of their wines, they farm over 2,600 acres. Talk about a success story! We carry the Chardonnay, Viognier, Merlot, Pinot Noir, Cabernet, and Petit Syrah. All are fantastic and very reasonably priced. If you’re looking for crowd pleasers, look no further - they have something for everybody.
