Intervale Conservation Nursery Volunteers Needed
The Intervale Conservation Nursery in Burlington must harvest 40,000 trees after the ground has thawed but before the trees leaf out. Adult volunteers are urgently needed for half day or full day shifts on Tuesday, March 30 - Sunday, April 4.
Volunteers meet at the Intervale Center headquarters at 9 a.m. or 12:30 p.m. on harvest days. Please dress for the weather and bring work gloves, plenty of water, snacks, and a lunch.
Volunteers are asked to contact Lynn Wolfe at lynn@intervale.org with the date(s) and time(s) of your availability to help with the tree harvest. Please download the Intervale Center volunteer form at the link below and bring the form with you. If you are a City Market member worker, hours worked can be used towards your worker discount.
