Instruments of Power and Love: Sculptures from Martin Bock

Martin Bock dedicates his art and writing to healing.

2021 marks the 50th year of his medical practice in acupuncture, herbal prescription, and psychotherapy. His wands, staffs, and images are used by healers, and doctors of energetic medicine in the U.S and countries around the world. The lineage pieces on display may be handed up from one generation to the next, as decorative art, practical walking staffs, and as icons of power and love. In the age-old Shamanic tradition, designs of instruments trace growth and grain patterns in each individual piece.

 

Personal symbols and lettering may be added upon request; new pieces may be commissioned.

 

Martin says he was always on the hunt for that most successful fugitive from the dictionaries, love, until she tracked him down. He lives in The Old North End of Burlington with Melly, his wife and muse.
