Ingredients
4 tablespoons fig jam (or preserves)
1⁄3 cup figs, mission (dried and sliced)
1⁄3 cup pistachios (shelled and roughly chopped)
1⁄3 cup walnuts (roughly chopped)
13 ounces cheese, brie
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375F. Place the fig jam in a microwave-safe dish and heat for 30 seconds to soften. In a separate bowl, combine the sliced dried figs with nuts. Add half of the fig jam and mix well to coat the nut mixture.
Place the round of brie in a small cast iron skillet or oven-safe dish. Using a knife, coat the brie with the remainder of the jam. Top of the brie with the fig-nut mixture. Place the skillet on a baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes (the brie should begin to ooze, but not melt). Serve warm with crackers.
