Burlington Area Community Gardens (BACG)

For over 40 years, Burlingtonians have come together to sow seeds, tend gardens and harvest rewards. The Burlington Area Community Gardens (BACG) serve over 1,400 individuals and their families.. And we're growing too with additional garden spaces being added every year! BACG oversees 14 local gardening sites with hundreds of participants. Community gardens are spaces for gardeners to come together to grow their own food, with access to tools, water, and tilling services. “Gardenteering” is the term for BACG’s various volunteer opportunities.
