In 1997, West Meadow Farm Bakery owner, Lois Blaisdell, was diagnosed with celiac's disease. When her daughter was also diagnosed with celiac's, Lois started developing gluten-free products that appealed to all people, even if they didn't have celiac's. West Meadow produces gluten-free flour blends, granola, breads, pizza crusts, desserts, and biscotti.
