Neighborly Farms of Vermont is owned and operated by Rob and Linda Dimmick. They milk 70 Holstein and Jersey cows and are certified organic, meaning they do not use hormones, antibiotics, or chemical fertilizers and the cows get outside to graze and to exercise every day. They use the milk they produce to make 11 different kinds of cheese (cheddars, feta, colby, and Monterey Jack). You can find their cheeses in our Cheese Department.
Fun fact: Rob and Linda recently installed a biodigester on their property to make use of the manure and whey their farm producers by converting methane gas to hot water (and in the future they hope to produce electricity).
