Cobb Hill Cheese is made in Hartland, Vermont at Cobb Hill Cohousing, an intentional community, with a 270 acre farm committed to sustainable practices.  The cheesemakers are Sophie Starr, Bonnie Hills, and Jeannine Kilbride, and they follow the age-old process of heating milk, adding lactic bacteria and vegetable rennet, hand stirring the curd, hooping and pressing. Cobb Hill Cheese makes 2 kinds of farmstead artisan cheese in small batches, Ascutney Mountain and Four Corners, using milk produced by Cedar Mountain Farm.  You can find Cobb Hill Cheese in our Cheese Department!
