BPA in Baby Gear

BPA has been suspected of being hazardous to humans for many decades. Concerns about BPA in consumer products made headlines in 2008 when several governments released reports casting much doubt on its safety.

Bisphenol A (BPA) is a chemical building block that is primarily used to make polycarbonate plastics and epoxy resins. We do know that scratched and worn polycarbonate feeding bottles will leach this chemical into liquids.
