This simple recipe allows the beauty of fiddleheads to show.
Steam fiddleheads until just tender. Meanwhile, heat butter or olive oil in a large frying pan and sauté shallots and garlic until just softened. Mix together soy sauce, honey, and wine. Add to pan along with steamed fiddleheads, turning to coat them well in the sauce. Serve at once. Serves 4.
