This crunchy treat is perfect for localvores!
Preheat oven to 350°F. Mix together the dry ingredients. Beat eggs and add to the flour mixture. Stir in maple syrup, vanilla, and chopped walnuts.
On baking tray, shape dough into two 15” logs 6 inches apart.
Bake for 25-30 minutes.
Remove to wire rack and cool for 10 minutes; cut on diagonal into 20 slices, 1/2” thick.
Place slices on baking sheet. Reduce oven to 325°F and bake for 15 minutes.
Cool completely and store.
