September Wine Picks for Under $10

September in Vermont is a time of transition, and radical inconsistency.  Waking up to the season’s first frost and then wearing a t-shirt and shorts by noon is quite normal.  It is for that reason we are featuring two Argentinian wines this month that are perfect for any temperature, taste, or time of day.

Tilia Torrontes features a beautiful floral nose, with hints of jasmine and magnolia.  It is a medium bodied white with notes of citrus, pear, and a crisp finish.  Enjoy a glass of this with sushi, shellfish, salad, or light pasta dishes.

Vila Reserva Malbec offers a bold scent of cherries and raspberries, which leads into notes of plum and a mellow finish.  It tastes great served alongside lean red meats, and bold cheeses.  Malbec is also a great wine for those end-of-season barbeques!
