February Wine Picks for Under $10

In February we’re featuring good value wines from Argentina throughout the wine department. Two of our favorites are Portillo Malbec and Portillo Pinot Noir which are both on sale for $9.99, save $2. Portillo Malbec has rich aromas and flavors of plums and blackberries. This is a smooth, not too spicy Malbec with velvety tannins and a round finish. A great food wine, Portillo Malbec is an excellent accompaniment to peppery steaks or full flavored pasta sauces.

Pinot Noirs from Argentina are unique and fun! Portillo Pinot Noir has bright aromas of red cherries, ripe blackberries and subtle notes of cinnamon and spice on the nose. It’s a full-bodied Pinot with balanced brambly fruit flavors and a hint of earth on the smooth, dry finish. Great with pork or seared tuna steaks.
