Bicycle Benefits Program Names City Market Business-Member of the Month!
As of 8/5/09, City Market has sold 237 stickers, which has included more people in the BB program than any other store nation-wide!
City Market's Operations Manager, Pat Burns, is very clear about the importance of Bicycle Benefits: "We first agreed to work with the Bicycle Benefits program because it fit so well with our desire to increase bike traffic in hopes of reducing auto traffic. The response was so enthusiastic, we literally ran out of stickers the first few days of the program and had to special order more to meet the demand. It is great to see our bike racks full every day."
