Steamed dumplings, called momos, make the perfect appetizer or snack. Hari Bista, who moved to Winooski from Bhutan with her extended family, will show us how to make vegetarian momos and savory tomato chutney to accompany them. Hari appreciates the convenience of cooking in Vermont, especially compared to her native village in Bhutan, where it would take two hours and several different buses to get to the store where ingredients were scarce. Hari’s recipes are included in the upcoming Vermont Refugee Resettlement Program cookbook, A Mosaic of Flavors.
