Vote at City Market!

Co-op members, please stop by the store between October 1st and October 22nd to choose your candidates for the three open Board seats and to vote on the proposed changes to the Articles of Incorporation. Your Board of Directors believes that this simple addition to Article VI could make voting easier for members and fully endorses the proposed changes.

Voting is Easy!
  1. Visit the voting booth in Aisle One at the Co-op;

  2. Select up to three candidates on the ballot;

  3. Vote on the proposed changes to the Articles of Incorporation;

  4. Print your name and member number on the outside of the provided envelope; and

  5. Put your ballot in the ballot box and let your voice be heard!

Voting is in store only according to the Co-op’s current Articles of Incorporation; however, exceptions are made in cases of hardship. If you are unable to vote in-store, please contact Leila Cosgrove at lcosgrove@citymarket.coop or 861-9707.

Candidates will be chosen by simple majority, so the three candidates receiving the most votes will be elected. Meet the Candidates! The amendment to the Articles of Incorporation requires a 2/3 majority to pass. Both the candidate election and the proposed by-law revisions will be on each official ballot.
