If you haven’t tried a Merlot in a while, give this one a chance. Washington is producing delightful, great value Merlots that tend to be a bit more elegant and refined than a typical big, jammy California Merlot. Milk chocolate, wild blackberry, baking spice, and rose petal aromas lead to a silky smooth mouth-feel brimming with velvety red fruit. Medium-bodied with notes of dark plum, spice and just a hint of wood. This Merlot is great with a wide variety of foods including turkey or salmon and is a true crowd pleaser.
Kung Fu Girl Riesling is a white wine that we dare just about anyone to try. It’s perfectly balanced and not a bit too sweet, with lush aromas of stone fruit, Satsuma and lime. Harvested from a single rocky vineyard that imparts pleasing minerality, this wine is packed with fruity flavors of Asian pear, white peach, apricot with hints of citrus and spring flowers. Kung Fu pairs well with a wide variety of cheeses and veggie dishes and is perfect with spicy Thai food!
