Renegade Red Blend is a Cabernet blend from Washington State with loads of smooth red and black fruits, scents of loamy soil and minerality, fine tannins and balanced acidity. Red Diamond is a Washington winery that headed to Spain in search of grapes for their new red blend. Red Diamond “Temperamental” is a Tempranillo blend with aromas of blackberries and hints of dark chocolate. Bold flavors of black fruit with hints of oak lead to a silky smooth finish. Both of these easygoing red blends are versatile with food and tasty on their own. They are ideal wines to pair with appetizers at your upcoming holiday parties!

Chalone Vineyard is a pioneer of the California wine industry and is the one-and-only winery in the Chalone AVA appellation. The Chalone AVA has a unique terroir. The soil contains granite and limestone and the area is very dry and sees large temperature fluctuations within a given day. Chalone Pinot Noir and Chardonnay are on sale in November, and they both pair nicely with Thanksgiving dinner. The Pinot Noir is boasting especially deep savings this month!

Chalone Monterey Chardonnay is bright and fruit-focused with a touch of sweet oak. Baked pear, crisp apple and sweet citrus aromas and flavors are accented by hints of baking spice. The crisp fruit flavors are complemented by just enough oak to lend structure and complexity. Chalone Monterey Pinot Noir has aromas of dried roses, ripe black cherries and a touch of tobacco. It is soft and silky with vibrant red raspberry flavors and a touch of spicy oak. These two classically Californian wines are sure to be holiday crowd pleasers!

Have you heard of gose? This herbal brew is fermented with salt! Gose is a member of the sour beer family, and achieves its characteristic sourness through inoculation with lactic acid bacteria. Don't worry, it doesn't TASTE salty! Check out Gasthaus and Gosebrauerei's Gose, which can be found in our Specialty Beer Cooler.

A new Gluten Free beer from Oregon. Hoppy, balanced and delicious. We are so excited about our new gluten free options! Even more are on the way!

Kili Wit is an organic unfiltered "white beer" with African spice. Not just a cool label, but a cool mission as well! A portion of the purchase price supports K2 Adventures Foundation, an organization which supports community service and provides medical and educational enrichment for African children. You can find this in our Beer Specialty Cooler.

Start spring with some Swing! This Belgian-style ale has a great balance of citrus and spice. With crisp orange and the spice of peppercorns, this refreshing beer is a great compliment to a sunny spring day!

Unoaked Chardonnay is our new favorite style of Chardonnay, especially for springtime sipping. With an unoaked chardonnay we trade toasty, smoky, buttery notes for crisp and clean citrus and tropical fruit aromas and flavors, while still enjoying Chardonnay’s rich and full bodied character. Milou Chardonnay is a gracefully balanced French chardonnay vinified in stainless steel. Its zesty, lemony finish highlights rich white peach and pineapple aromas and flavors. Milou is truly a versatile crowd pleaser!

Four Vines Naked Chardonnay is back! Bright white fruit aromas with crisp minerality, tangy citrus and creamy vanilla that mingle on the palate. A refreshing, unencumbered California Chardonnay with a long soft finish that compliments white meats, seafood and veggie fare beautifully.

In March we are excited to feature two wine department favorites on sale. K Vintners Velvet Devil Merlot and K Vintners Kung Fu Girl Riesling are both regularly $12.99, on sale in March for $9.99.

If you haven’t tried a Merlot in a while, give this one a chance. Washington is producing delightful, great value Merlots that tend to be a bit more elegant and refined than a typical big, jammy California Merlot. Milk chocolate, wild blackberry, baking spice, and rose petal aromas lead to a silky smooth mouth-feel brimming with velvety red fruit. Medium-bodied with notes of dark plum, spice and just a hint of wood. This Merlot is great with a wide variety of foods including turkey or salmon and is a true crowd pleaser.

Kung Fu Girl Riesling is a white wine that we dare just about anyone to try. It’s perfectly balanced and not a bit too sweet, with lush aromas of stone fruit, Satsuma and lime. Harvested from a single rocky vineyard that imparts pleasing minerality, this wine is packed with fruity flavors of Asian pear, white peach, apricot with hints of citrus and spring flowers. Kung Fu pairs well with a wide variety of cheeses and veggie dishes and is perfect with spicy Thai food!
