A family owned and operated farm situated in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont, Shuttleworth Farm raises animals in the sweet, green pastures that grow in the shadow of Jay Peak.
Given plenty of room to live, these lambs are shown the good life. From birth, the grass-fed lambs receive nothing but mother’s milk, the farm’s own high-quality hay and a run of lush pastures which the sheep are herded from daily to help maintain soil quality. Pasture-raised meats are much lower in fat, higher in heart healthy Omega 3 fatty acids and have excellent flavor. Shuttleworth Farm believes in improving the health of customers, be they farm animal or the human variety. Its devotion to sustainability isn’t just a goal; it’s a reality. Currently, only Pasture Raised Pork is available at the Co-op due to supply issues.
