Plymouth Artisan Cheese is one of Vermont's oldest cheese businesses. Started in 1890 by John Coolidge (father of President Calvin Coolidge!), Plymouth Artisan Cheese is now in the hands of cheesemaker Jesse Werner. Plymouth Artisan Cheese produces artisanal raw cows' milk cheese from a single local herd of cows that is free of antibiotics and hormones.
