Kingdom Creamery of Vermont is an ice cream brand produced by the Michaud family in the Northeast Kingdom. The farm was established in 1954 as a small dairy and maple sugaring operation. The next generation (Denis and his wife Claire) took over the farm in 1976 and then their three sons returned to the farm after all obtaining agricultural degrees to help run the dairy. In order to accomodate all of the Michaud family, the farm expanded by purchasing 2 neighboring dairies and the dairy herd grew from 250 cows to 1,100 cows. The Kingdom Creamery of Vermont ice cream venture began in 2011 and the building where the ice cream is made is across the road from the Michaud dairy. The ice cream is made using ingredients that are all produced on the farm. There are a variety of flavors available, and you can find their pints in our freezers.
