Gerard, of Gerard's Breads of Traditions, and his apprentices make immensely popular sourdough loaves that City Market customers can't get enough of.  Originally from France, Gerard moved to Vermont and after a career change, started making bread on his property in Westford.  He bakes his breads in a wood-fired oven and grinds a lot of his own flour manually.  Gerard bakes bread 5 days a week, providing himself with some well-deserved days off!
