Juanita Galloway, owner and operator of Colombian Eats, grew up in Bogotá, Colombia. In 1983 she emigrated to the US and has called many different places home. She graduated from the Seattle Culinary Academy, and she uses her training and inspirations from the places she has lived to create unique food products. One of those food products is her cheesecake with creative customizable toppings, which we sell in our Bakery Department. Her cheesecake recipe was handed down from her mother and aunt who started making and selling the cheesecake (which is light and airy) over 40 years ago in Colombia. Some of the topping flavors that Juanita has created include passion fruit, strawberry balsamic, and Colombian caramel sauce. Give this cheesecake a try - we bet you won't be disappointed!
