Daniel and Denis Boucher run a small farm in rural Highgate Center, Vermont with over 120 dairy cows. In 1999, Daniel’s’ wife Dawn taught herself how to make cheese in a small building next to the dairy to supplement the family income. She turns their own fresh milk – still warm from the cows – into handcrafted cheeses under the name Green Mountain Blue Cheese. Their most popular cheeses include Gore-Dawn-Zola Blue Cheese, Boucher Blue Cheese, Tomme Collins, and Madison, all of which can be found at City Market.  Daniel and Dawn also sell the farm's meats, eggs, and cheeses at the Burlington Farmers' Market, and Dawn writes a monthly column about eating locally for the Green Mountain section of the Sunday Burlington Free Press.
