Come enjoy an evening with Kara Buchanan, community herbalist, gardener and educator, and co-director of Spoonful Herbals, for a tour around her Rooted Heart Rising medicinal herb garden and pollinator sanctuary at Rock Point. As we nosh on wood-fired pizza made from garden herbs and wild edibles, we’ll learn about medicinal and culinary herbs that grow well in our region, both wild and cultivated, as well as gardening for pollinators.
