Beer and Wine Frequently Asked Questions
When is Heady Topper available at City Market and how much can I get?
We receive shipments from the Alchemist once a week on Tuesdays and release it at 2:00pm. It usually sells out the same day (follow @citymarketbeer for availability updates). ***Starting July 5, 2016*** we now have a limit of two 4-four packs per transaction on this coveted brew.
What do you recommend?
Our knowledgeable staff is always happy to help you find the item to suit your needs. You'll find a list of some of their favorites here or feel free to ask next time you visit.
Does City Market carry Switchback in bottles?
Yes. We receive a regular supply from Switchback on Fridays.
Does City Market carry beer from Hill Farmstead?
No, we do not carry beer from Hill Farmstead nor from Hill Farmstead’s distribution company, Grassroots Distributing. Their bottling production is too small for our needs at this time but we are in frequent communication with them. We eventually hope to see their beers in greater availability for retail sale.
Does City Market carry beer from Lawson’s Finest Liquids?
Yes! We now carry Sip of Sunshine from Lawson's Finest Liquids. We get weekly deliveries on Wednesdays and we anticipate that each delivery will sell out quickly.
Does the Co-op ever carry sour beers?
We rarely have sour beers available because demand is quite limited. If you are interested in sour beers, ask a staff member in Beer & Wine if we have anything at the moment or for help finding an alternative choice.
